I really love XBL coop games, but I'm really unsure about this one and will wait for all the reviews to come out on it.

When the video was first released on Live (well over a year ago) I was really excited for it because the graphics looked spectacular. I think I'll probably wait a little while to buy it because I just haven't had much time for my 360 recently.

I was interested at first but as I watched more gameplay videos it started to look pretty lame. I haven't been paying attention to it recently as a result, but I am still curious to see how it turned out.

I'll be waiting for reviews, I was pumped for it and am getting more interested, but with GTA4 coming out at the end of the month well... I'll probably only be playing that and Rock Band for a lonnng time.

I thought it looked pretty nice. I loved GoW co-op so maybe this one will be good.

Same here. It seems like one of those that I might be able to pick up for $40 in a month. Maybe less by the time I'm done with GTA4 and SSBB.

Well the game was delayed after a few mags and online sites said it was beyond bad (I think there was actually one review of the version that was slated for x-mas release) so its really best to wait and see what the reviews say about it.

I dont mind delays to make a game better, specially in a jam packed release window.

1up yours show said the delay definitely improved the game and graphics but they still didn't give any hint to whether it was good now.

All signs point to it getting overwhelmingly negative reviews had it been released on time. I'm not sure how well they could have fixed/changed it.

The ad looked pretty cool, but so did the one for assasins creed. Would love for this to come out on pc as there just isn't nearly enough co-op games there, one of the top 2 reasons to get a console unfortunately.

They added too many arcade elements to this game. Lost the serious tone it had before. My prediction: Short game, unspectacular gameplay, unfleshed plotline.

I'm going to say 8.6 for Army of Two.

I'm definitely not going to pay full price for it. I'm sure I'll be able to pick it up half price in a few months new/used if I really want it. Based on what I've read, it's not going to be that great. However, I'll obviously hold any real judgement until I see it in action, rent it, or hear a lot of you talking shit about it on here (so get to shit talking).

I also was pumped for this when I first read about it in an EGM about this time last year, but as it got closer to it's release in Nov and after it was delayed, my excitement level dwindled. I watched a couple of videos, and it looked too vanilla for me. Had it come out in summer of last year, I would've been first in line. Now, I'm very "eh" on it.

I'm interested in seeing some reviews.

There's your first review from a major site. Although I haven't read through the review, it's a decent score.

EDIT: The review states that character names are Salem and Rios, which is weird. In my above post, I talked about reading the preview in an EGM mag about this time last year. Turns out I was way off, since I found the mag during a...*ahem*...bathroom visit...yesterday. The magazine came out around August 2006, which means it's been a year and a half ago since I first read about it. I read through the article, and at the time it was written, their names were Tyson and Elliot. Kinda weird that they changed the names.

Did you read the article? Tyson and Elliot are their 1st names. Salem and Rios their last names. I can't remember if EA ever told us their full names in previous showings or in any other previews.

The IGN review posted says the co-op is great but the single player is lacking. The only reason I have been interested in this at all is FOR the co-op, so I may pick this up sooner than planned.
