It seems that they are playing hteir last moves before the government changes to a new mask. It sure is a peaceful future for the middle east (!)

I'm sorry, didn't see the other topic, where is it by the way?
Sattelites? I don't know the how satellite communication
(location type) works, but does it matter?

If we control the satellites then we control the bombs.

If Saudi Arabia misbehaves then all we have to do is cut off their access to our satellites.

Therefore, sell them all the guided missiles they want.

That is indeed the way to mid east peace. Arms both sides. Brilliant simply brilliant. Two things the article forgets to mention.

1. While GWB smoozes with the Saudi royalty, the Saudi people are definitely not happy with GWB.

2. The side message is that the mid-east decadent undemocratic Arabs should make war with Iran.

Orwell definitely had it right, love is hate and war is peace. Even though he is 24 years off on the date. Hypocrites of this magnitude only come once in a awhile. So much left undone in the GWB legacy and so little time remaining. And with all US assets tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan, its ever so hard to drum up more wars.

Russia also has a GPS constellation.

There are also a number of private GPS systems used by (for example) surveyors that are accurate to the sub-millimeter that use private satellites.

The USA does not have a monopoly on GPS or satellites.
