Well I've tried the major brands and they all clog up the pores on my underarms and lead to painful boils. So I just use medicate & hypoallergenic talcum powder. Works great, no problems, lasts about 12+ hours.

thats basically it. thankfully i dont sweat a whole lot and my sweat is not stinky.

does your BO smell like curry? the indian dudes at work have that BO smell.
 
My step-mom always kept telling me how when my dad got BO, his pits smelled like chicken soup. She never understood why I refused to stick my nose in his pit and take a whiff.
 
the most important thing is after you shower and dried, immedately apply speedstick and you're good to go.

might be better for you to shower at night.

i shower daily and scrub the hell out of my armpit (left) to no avail. antibacterial soap too. anti-perspirant clogs pores and leads to other health problems, so that's a no go.

It takes 5 minutes for the water to get cold enough. Yes, cold enough. In Tucson the water heats in the pipes, so you have to wait a while to get cold enough water to shower.

I've been using it for 20+ years and I've never had any clogged pores or health problems from it.

So much insistence on antiperspirant. What about just simple deoderant? You still sweat; you just don't smell bad. At least I don't... but my pores aren't faucets, either.
