I didn't shave yet, but after reading all you guys I think I should. What kind of shaver are you using? Like electric, gas, hand driven, any ideas?

I use an electric shaver for my face, so I just pop up the trimmer whenever I notice excessive growth and do a quick swipe. A haircutting or beard trimmer also works (without the heads).

Its not for everyone, personally I've gotten good feedback from it, and in my case it is just another extension of good grooming.

my armpit is non-existant because i used a product called MegaDry on it. its like napalm for your armpit... or agent orange on your sweat glands! its phenomenal

Your armpit doesn't exist

During the summer sometimes I'll just use the beard trimmer to trim it all down.

I felt weird doing it, but as I've gotten older I've started to sweat more...and stink more. It really does cut down on the funk, its not really a problem during the winter but sometimes my pits can get to really stinking during the summer.

Plus...it doesn't ever seem like I'm actually putting deodorant on my pits with a forest going on there, its like I'm just dusting the trees and making a goey mess.

I've had my armpits shaved twice (both times for medical procedures). I don't know how women do it. After a day or 2, the stubble was driving me insane.

I can imagine. 🙁

I don't bother with my armpits, the possible benefits dealing with deoderant and perspiration cannot possibly outbalance the downsides of itchiness and inflamation.
