LOL!

Anybody read Dick Armey's comments about Liberals.

He said conservatives have a deeper intellect and "occupations of the brain" like engineering, science and economics.

He said liberals work in "occupations of the heart," which he said were those in the arts.

"Liberals are in my estimation just not bright people. They don't think deeply; they don't comprehend; they don't understand. ... They have a narrow educational base, as opposed to the hard scientists," Armey said.

Armey said. "I have not been impressed with the intellect of the left since I was a freshman in college."

Talk about hitting the nail on the head!!!

He sounds like one of those Nazi Geneticists when they use to talk of inferior or "Mutt" races.

do what? usually people move left going to college. ok, so everyone hes talking about probably went to college. but narrow education base? how many engineer/science majors here have run around whining about them having to take a history, gov't, or english class? seems like all they're focused on is learning exactly what they need to know to pass the engineering/science courses and nothing else.

Something's definitely been hit on the head here, but I don't believe it's a nail.

what a ridicoulous assertion, most scientists and engineers i know are liberal because they dont like having christian doctrine shoved down their throats. if bush had his way the ten commandents would be posted in every school and a portrait of jc in every classroom

What are you talking about!? Most stem-cell researchers I know are Bible-toting Christians.

And the archeologists I know looking for ancient remains and dinosaurs ALL believe that the Earth is 5000 years old. And flat.

I only have one thing to say about this thread.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee ? I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee ? that says, fool me once, shame on ? shame on you. Fool me ? you can't get fooled again." ?George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Sounds like deep thinking, huh?

The first time I heard the name Dick Army I thought it had to be a joke. Turns out he is.

Sounds like Dick (head) Armey is not the deep thinker.

Watch hardball with Chris Mathews tonight. He will interview the rascal.

Actually, there are some conservative economists (although by "conservative" i really mean libertarian). Science and Engineering are almost entirely liberal.

Armey must be smoking crack. Science and Engineering are dominated by liberals. With some exceptions, better educated people tend to be overwhelmingly liberal; hence the hatred of conservatives to the liberal inteligencia in universities, the press, etc.

Pretty much. "Liberal" is pretty much a cuss word in America today.
