Only you stupid Leftist shits are calling them "terrorists".

If these Americans were Muslim or BLM and armed, you'd be calling them terrorists and for airstrikes. Fucktards like you think that everything is a Left vs Right thing is this country. Get back under your bed where it is safe for you and your ilk...

fwiw if people victimized by their local police, their neighbors, the FBI, etc took up arms specifically against them instead of random acts of looting, rioting, or spree killing, I'd respect it. There's a lot of justified Islamic terrorism, to be completely honest.

If you want honesty, how about you admit that what's going on outside a cabin in the middle of Nowhere Oregon is nothing like what you fucktards are painting? :\

Agreed.

Armed Occupation of Federal Property should not be a crime as long as it's a small-ish property. And also fairly remote. I think the Constitution says something about this. (It may be towards the back, I'm not sure).

Maybe you missed the memo, it's not a crime anymore. Hell, it's encouraged! :awe:

hamburgerboy: islamic terrorism is justified.

If a foreign nation has been meddling in your nation's (or neighboring nations') politics for generations, forcing one government overthrow after the next, throwing your world into frequent turmoil, dropping bombs left and right perhaps killing friends and family, why wouldn't you want to kill those responsible?

Error: Federal property not found in example, please try again.

ETA: It is amusing to watch the usual wingnut law and order types contorting themselves into knots in defending and excusing the armed takeover of a federal facility.

I think any honest person would agree with you here.

The problem with terrorism is the directed targeting of civilians. However, If I were a citizen of such countries, I'm not sue what the possible options are. These governments are either corrupt and unwilling, or completely incapable of responding against the forces of the US and allied Western countries, or Russia. Not to mention that these very governments are often indebted-to or obliged to work with the US, no matter the official public face of aggression.

What else are citizens supposed to do if they perceive a very rational need to fight back against what can only be seen as an occupying aggressor, and their government is incapable, or simply doesn't care to support them?

So, is it armed insurrection or not?

I submit that it is & that the participants merely use the re sentencing as a convenient excuse to posture & pose for their delusional & utterly vague cause. None of them suffered the slightest personal harm in it.

What they're doing is indefensible but it will give them the attention they crave.

The fact that they're defended at all tells us just how contagious their brand of insanity can be.

Yeah, turns out it's a log cabin in the middle of nowhere. There's not even a liquor store or KFC to loot around there, WTF kind of protest is this? o_O

So, what type of "terror" have these guys perpetrated? Who's been killed? No one? Oh. Who's been hurt? No one? Has there been any violence at all against anyone? No? Geez, what the fuck? These guys really suck in regards to being terrorists. By all appearances it looks like there's really nothing for you whiny cunts to bitch about.

It's unsurprising that an idiot such as yourself completely missed the point.

Ridiculous. They're not militia or patriots. They're armed protesters.
As for the Hammonds, I do agree that the sentences seem a bit harsh, but OTOH wildfires are a big deal out here, and arsonists are not treated kindly. Plus, their sentence is the mandatory minimum, and I've never seen the RWN get outraged when a dimebagger got a ridiculous sentence because it was the mandatory minimum.

I'm totally against mandatory minimums for drug crimes. I like the idea of mandatory minimums for violent crimes and ones that otherwise cause loss of life, to prevent people like Ethan Couch and Laura Bush getting away just because their families have money. Of course, in those cases the DA can just decline to prosecute and nothing happens anyways, so there isn't really a good solution through the legal system.

This made me lol...

"There is absolutely no armed standoff," she wrote. "They want us to know: They are simply occupying land and a building owned by 'We The People.' Our tax dollars. And that for them, this is a civil peaceful protest."
... with guns.

This made me cringe...

Peltier elaborated on her encounters in a phone interview Sunday with The Oregonian/OregonLive, saying some in the group are armed and others are not. She said protesters are moving freely in and out of the facility and are bringing children onto the grounds Sunday. The Oregonian/OregonLive was unable to confirm whether children were with the protesters.
Great... these 'men' are dragging children into this. Nothing like having some human shields on hand! What these guys are spoiling for is another Waco.

Stupid fuckers.

Nothing new here:

"Former Arizona sheriff Richard Mack says he and other organizers at Cliven Bundy’s ranch in Nevada were contemplating using women and children as human shields in case “rogue federal officers” opened fire.

Appearing on Fox News’ “The Real Story” on Monday, former Sheriff Richard Mack said he and other protesters “were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front. If they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers.”

Because nothing says that you're a real man more than hiding behind women and children with your guns.

I read over at LGF that Ammon Bundy has a LiveStream up and that he was on it spouting sovereign citizen bullshit. The feds ought to get some jamming gear over there and shut them down.

lol - sovereign citizen? Reminds me of that YouTube video a few months back about the woman claiming to be a "sovereign citizen" and the officer couldn't require her to exit her vehicle. Then she cried rape. Ridiculous.

Ohh, sorry, I mixed up "sovereign citizen" with a "free inhabitant"
