Absolutely, most states allow "defense of 3rd party" and you can shoot to prevent somebody under threat of harm/death/rape/kidnapping/robbery/arson.

Good shoot, no charges filed and if we're luck his accomplice will be charged with felony murder.

In the Aurora thread, it was claimed by the left that no one would've been shot but innocent bystanders.

Ironically, the only ones guilty of that are the NYPD...

What a screwed up quote. What do they mean it's the first time? Do they expect another time, or that he finally lost his "murder" virginity?

This mentality is exactly what I said before. All gunholders are nothing but a bunch of maniacs waiting for their first human kill.

I hope that Texas judge was right, and a Civil War will break out after Obama crushes Romney in November. I'd love nothing more than to see UN troops go in and put bullets into these Retardican maniacs.

Nice to see there are some instances where being armed with a gun actually ended well. Hopefully the guy does not get charged for anything. He should be given a prize for getting rid of that scum.
 
I had to go to the source link in the OP's link, and then play the video to find out that both suspects were armed. That's a little detail that should've been in the headline...
