Argument for getting a laptop with my parents:

"you need it to take notes in class"
"but i could use that at my current community college to take notes"
"its not the same"

"wait to you go to a REAL college"
"You said this community college was a REAL college and i could learn just as much there as MC, back when i was deciding what college i wanted to go to, why is it no longer a REAL college?"
"your community college is free, MC is not"
"so, the quality of education is equal when it is free?"

it went downhill from there.........

CC classes are actually better compared to large univerisities

at most, each class is about 25-30 students

classes in large unis can go 200-300 people

I have some money saved up but IF I just spent it on something they'd be p!ssed even though it is MY money.

That thing sounds bulky also.

My laptop weighs all of 1.67kg and it feels heavy when I have my folder and 1 pad and a few pens in my bag. It feels heavy walking about with. I also bought a really nice rucksack also with big straps and not those BS small straps on most bags. My shoulders ache and you would not want to walk around with a big laptp!

It isn't so bad if I don't walk around and stuff with my bag and laptop inside it.
