I was late for class this morning, and kinda hurried out of my carport
My front left fender hit the pole for my carport... 🙁🙁🙁🙁
will post pics later.. im in class right now...
edit: anyone know of a good dent removal in socaal? preferably san fernando valley area
EDIT: ok I just got home, here are the pics:
pic1. It turns out that my paint is fine, its just paint from the pole.
I tried rubbing some off, and result is this, I hope I can go to a painless dent removal and get this fixed... otherwise Im screwed...
EDIT: Ok I just buffed the paint off, now it looks like this: buffed.jpg. Looks like I have to get the fender replaced... 🙁
Update2:
I went to a couple of body shops and here are my choices:
1. $1500, but this place deals with high end cars. and their work is unsurpassed. but IMO it its overkill.
2. $700, they just repair the dent, not replace the fender. Paint is blended.
3. $450, similar to no 2, but no blending paint. They say they will match the paint as close as possible.
4. $300 from a mobile guy. He will repair the dent and repaint it using the same paint. but Im kinda worried about the painting quality (whether it will match or not).
Which one would you do? Keep in mind that my insurance deductible is $1000. So if I go route 2 and 3 and 4 I will pay for it myself. I want to keep my insurance out of this...
