I was late for class this morning, and kinda hurried out of my carport
My front left fender hit the pole for my carport... 🙁🙁🙁🙁

will post pics later.. im in class right now...

edit: anyone know of a good dent removal in socaal? preferably san fernando valley area

EDIT: ok I just got home, here are the pics:

pic1. It turns out that my paint is fine, its just paint from the pole.

I tried rubbing some off, and result is this, I hope I can go to a painless dent removal and get this fixed... otherwise Im screwed...

EDIT: Ok I just buffed the paint off, now it looks like this: buffed.jpg. Looks like I have to get the fender replaced... 🙁

Update2:
I went to a couple of body shops and here are my choices:

1. $1500, but this place deals with high end cars. and their work is unsurpassed. but IMO it its overkill.
2. $700, they just repair the dent, not replace the fender. Paint is blended.
3. $450, similar to no 2, but no blending paint. They say they will match the paint as close as possible.
4. $300 from a mobile guy. He will repair the dent and repaint it using the same paint. but Im kinda worried about the painting quality (whether it will match or not).

Which one would you do? Keep in mind that my insurance deductible is $1000. So if I go route 2 and 3 and 4 I will pay for it myself. I want to keep my insurance out of this...

That is better than when my entire driver side mirror was removed by a cement pole while backing up.

dont know how much will I pay at the body shop...

Probably a lot.

More specifically, your insurance company will, & you'll be paying high premiums for the next 3 years.

Maybe you can pay them with the hearty laugh they'll all enjoy at your expense. 😛

Of course the way to avoid all of that is to ask how much it'll be if you pay cash. It really does wonders for that, I know.

I dont think its THAT bad... only a dent in the outer front left fender...

dunno if they can pop it back out($), or have to replace the whole fender ($$$)

Body shops have seen much better.

For instance the lady that drove her car through the front of one of my local food stores.
Did some serious damage to a couple of checkout stations.

About 6 months ago took off my passenger mirror on a basketball pole backing out of someone's driveway.

$300 freakin' bucks to replace that thing. 🙁

If the charge is only 300 Ill be really happy...

Don't worry about it.... dents don't look that bad .

I put a dent in my front right fender when I was moving my car in the driveway and hit the rear of my dad's car. I was getting over the flu and still felt bad/dizzy and didn't realize what I had done. I bought a suction cup dent puller and pulled it out a little. It didn't fix it though.

EEEk, on the fold...not too brilliant.

However someone should be able to get it out
