I hate it when people call tech support, totally ignoring our spanish lines/asian lines, and when we offer them it them, the decline, than I have to try and troubleshoot them when they can barely speak english. I mean for christ sakes, just call the other number.

"I'm sorry, I do not understand you. However, I do know that you are speaking Spanish/Cantonese/Hindi/whatever and I am now going to transfer you to the appropriately-speaking support line."

*cold transfer*

*next call*

Having an English speaker get a non english speaking caller is not nearly as bad as an English speaker getting a non English speaking tech support person.

At least the former can transfer to the correct extension... the latter is just a mess.
