alright, now that i've made an ass out of myself...

argh, i just installed a 5 port USB card on my parents computer, and i hadnt yet installed drivers, and i went out to get some strip savers (1 foot long power cords)... i had thought they'd just leave the computer alone till i got back, so i could finish the installation and put the drivers on and get the damn thing working, but nooooo..... they have to bug the computer, and when i get back, they're yelling at me about the computer not booting up or some sh1t.

the computer actually was booting up. (if it gets to an operating system load, i do not consider it a hardware problem, and thus call it "booted up". but whatever. they're also complaining about funny noises (the floppy drive trying to access a non-existant floppy), and the cd tray not working (it was working fine). when i got to it, i had all them yelling at me, about what I did to the computer. well, i turned it on, and normally installed the card and all ports on it, and it worked fine. no problems, other than the extremely bloated and backweb filled / gator filled / whatever other spyware filled POS install of win98SE they got on it.

just... argh.

i need the experience working with computers.

it's like a D&D game. i need experience.. but unlike a D&D game, i cant take experience from slaying monsters and put it towards hacking skills. (though that might be nice....)
