Well, just got my nice new notebook from Dell, what a world of difference over my old one.

Problem... I switched my 3Com Wi-Fi wireless network card from my old Dell into the new Dell, and it doesn't see the network, and the configuration changes didn't help.

It works when physically wired up, but not when on the wireless.

*bangs head against wall*

Computers drive me nuts...

It might be an ID: 10T Error, its pretty common, i wouldn't worry about it too much.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I'm using Windows XP & Microsoft wireless hardware (802.11b) without a flaw. ;)

damn hopper...you should know by now this is the wrong forum.

and you should also know to use the included client software that came with the card.

and you should know that you sometimes have to manually configure the wireless settings in start->network and dial connections.

It's a good thing I caught this or some unlucky schmoe might tell you something useful...
