ARGH, why won't Macromedia release Linux version of the MX suite?!?!

Seriously, these are the only things holding me in a Windows world. RedHat 7.3 with KDE 3 are so nice and functional themselves. I really do like it and would be prepared to jump ship if Macromedia would release their dev suite in Linux. It doesn't use DirectX...what vested interest do they have in pleasing Microsoft like this??
