ARGH!!! Whats the trick to getting my Samsung 2700 into the RAM slot of 8K5A2+??

Make sure the top of the little white things that will hold it in place after youa have inserted the memory is pointing away from the memory slots.

Make sure your memory is aligend with the slot. Memory can only go in one way. Look for a little gap on your memory module and match that gap to the slot.

 
Here's a crazy thought....have you looked in the manual that came with the board? It has very detailed instructions with plenty of pictures for installing the ram...
 
eh, I read the manual but all it says is to put the ram in. Ive instlled ram before but I dont remember using this much force to put it in.

ah well, Ill just bash it in there with a hammer. If it breaks, all you people are paying for the damages

Hmmm...looking at page 3-7 of my manual shows a very clear picture, actually three of them, on how you install the DDR module. It also has a clear description of how you should do this. I don't know what you are expecting...after all..it's not rocket science..😉
