ARGH!!! Someone stole my glass from my drivers side mirror!

Can't believe it. Got up very early this morning to go to work and noticed that someone stole the glass from my drivers side mirror. Why in the hell would someone want just the glass. Don't understand it. Now I have to spend $70 for a used one unless I get my insurance to pay for it. The car looks stupid without the piece of glass and I wish I could find who stole it and kick there a$$!
 
maybe someone need a mirror in hurry for cosmetic reasons 🙂 anyway, just go to junk yard and find a replacement for less than $15.

I think you answered your own question. Someone broke their's and wanted / got yours.
 
hehe... where was the car parked? if it was near ur house... just roam the general area to look for cars that could use ur mirror. its prolly one of them. its retarded what some ppl do. one time while i was at school, i parked at a meter on campus overnite and when i got to my car in the morning, i noticed someone broke the arm of my windshield wipers. i think they wanted to take the wipers itself... struggled... and just broke it. friggin a$$holes man...
 
SafeLite Auto Glass does a great job on replacing glass/mirrors and they are dirt cheap. They're a chain so you should be able to find them everywhere.
 
My car was parked right outside my apartment and I rarely see anyone driving a 93' Dodge Colt. looked all over the parking lot and the dumpster. Some kid was probably screwing around and decided to take it.
 
IIRC, the dodge colt is a mitsubishi mirage.. so that gives you more choices at the junk yard..good luck
