Argh.... People who call only when they need something.

It rubs me the wrong way when somebody, who hasn't called you or kept in touch for a while, all of a sudden calls when they need something from you.

This girl I used to know who hasn't made the slightest effort to keep in touch, just called me, asking for something. I answered her question without putting too much effort into it and without hiding my annoyance and then told her I had to go. Was I being an ass? I guess - but honestly, I don't care

even worse is when my sisters friend left me a vmail saying that her boyfriend needs a job and to let her know if I know of anything...after we kept out of touch for like 6 months :|

i get that all the time, especially when it comes to computer problems, even with most of my family, with the exception of a few. They dont call untill there computer breaks, or they need to borrow my truck, it pisses me off

sometimes its hard to keep in touch when others don't replay back. If they're your true friends I dont mind helping them out. 🙂

Depends on what she was asking for. If it was a lay what's the problem?

I got annoyed once, then I figured, fvck it. If I can help someone I'm happy too. I like to be the kind of person and friend that a person can call and expect to be open and receptive no matter what the reason.

You can only be taken advantage of if you withold something. Give everything and you can't be taken advantage of.

Hell, it annoys me when I people I know really well (or, actually, person I know really well) IM me with questions but have nothing else to say.
90% of the time, when this one guy IMs me, it's like a damn quiz show.

You did fine. You didn't hang up, or bitch at her for calling.

There's a guy in my church that I don't even know, but ever since they acknowledged the graduates a few weeks ago, he calls me all the time asking for computer advice. Fortunately, I have caller ID, and have stopped answering the majority of his calls.

first pretend that you dont know them
then ask how they know you..
keep making them go into detail about how they know u

when u answer their questions keep interjecting saying.....

dont u owe me money
i could swear i lent u 20 bucks
are u sure u dont owe me money?

Just had to quote the above. Pretty insightful.
