ARGH.... lost my glasses!

just so this isn't a pathetic whining thread ... what's the largest dollar item you've ever lost? my glasses were a little over 200... armani

i lost a fur purse with a single $100 in it. somewhere in washington D.C.

i was holding it for my mom, 30 minutes later it wasn't there anymore. my mom thought that she's the one who lost it.
and i didn't tell her.....


back then, we weren't wealthy...so that was a lot of money. so i was guilt ridden, i give her money all the time now that i'm rich.
i just gave her $1000 last week to pay her credit card bill....

My current glasses are Armani too. Cost around 110 for frames *love the hookups* and however much for lenses and crap.

Hmm... I've maybe lost... I'd say at most 50 dollar item.

I haven't lost anything of any value. I lost a wallet once with about £30 in it......

More of a hassle to get my cards back though........

Uhmm . . . dollar item? It would be my textbook, I think! LOL!

But if you mean money, it was $2000+

Before then, I had lost about $60.

If my wallets weren't returned each time I misplaced them, I would have lost more than $2000 by now.

nah... i have a very weak prescription. the doc said if it was any weaker, i wouldn't need glasses.

I don't know!!!! I know I haven't seen them for days and no one else has either. I called a few places and searched my home, car, and office -- but no luck. I simply can't recall where I last had them on :Q Today I mistook one of my students for another because I could not see too clearly in the back row at least I got the right gender.
