Argh! How do you create a poll (with the little voting checkboxes?)

I'm embarassed to admit that I've never created one before..and I've been trying to figure it out. For two days now. Please edumacate me.

when you make a new topic, there's a check box you can hit at the bottom that says something along the lines of "Create a poll for this topic"

Yeah, I tried that...and it didn't do anything....maybe a PEBKAC?

Did you try logging in first? If you don't Anandtech won't let you create a poll. Without logging in you can create a post, read posts, reply to posts - but for some reason you cannot create a post with a poll.
