<< Just a side note to whoever said NTFS is incompatible with linux..... Linux kernel 2.2.17 definitly supports reading NTFS partitions (mounted as read-only). The write support is experimental and they are suppose to have it complete for the 2.4.0 kernel. >>
I said it was "unacceptable", which it is. However, I will give you that it sounds like I say it's incompatible. I guess if you only want to read data, then fine, maybe I'd trust it to. Probably not though. I've seen too many people say how horrendous linux support for NTFS is to call it "acceptable". OTOH, FAT32 supoort is great and I use it in my samba box that houses a 45 GB FAT32 drive w/ mp3's etc.
