Argg!! Half Life Help!

My little cousin, Scottie, came over last week with the rest of my Mom's brother's family. Anyway, he cracked my Half-Life cd case so I just thoughtlessly threw it away. Well, fast forward one week to today and I just realized that the key for cs is on the Half-Life cd that I threw away. The kicker is that today was trash day and I actually cleaned out my trash from my room :|

So, is there anyway I can contact Valve and get another cd-key? I still have my recipt in here somewhere I think.....

I doubt...that they would give you another cd-key just like that. If it's installed on your machine, you might want to see if it's somewhere in your registry or something.

Dang, I also lost my Case w/ key !!!!!! Really sucks, I havent cracked the CD yet so ..... lets figure this one out eh ?

well it's not installed right now, that's the problem.....I stopped playing for a while and I wanted to try out my cable connection at home, but now I can't install it again

huh? the cd key isn't on the actual cd

The CD Key isnt on the CD. Its on the case.

Also, you should be able to contact valve, or more so sierra for a new CD key.

thanks daz, I'll check their website for contact information.......though, it seems as if they wouldn't be happy to just give cd keys by the bundle..... :|

the CD-KEY is located in the registry of the following path

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\CounterStrike\Settings\Key
