There is no making up for it. You can find a girl that looks good, and will at least split the household chores down the middle.
It's okay if she wants to split the bills and split the housework, it can be okay if she wants to do the housework and have the guy pay for stuff. However, there's nothing a girl can do to make up for both expecting a guy to take on the role of paying for everything and not taking on any role for herself. That sort of laziness will carry over to other things, and you can easily do better than her.

And if theres one thing you can count on in life, its that looks WILL fade. If you arent happy now, even while you are getting good sex from a hotty, you will HATE her in 10 years when she starts to show her age, and she gets even lazier.

he does have a point. The OP is dating a typical american princess. That does not resemble the american wife of yester-year. Typical 20 something single women I've dated or know do not know how to or care to cook, clean or do anything more than spend money and sit by the pool. Are there exceptions to this....definitely*points at lola* but....if you want to find a woman that knows how to treat a man you really should look outside fo the US as MTV has most women these days chasing status, money and material possessions and not much else.
I do understand that there are some "prissy" girls out there, but a broad generalization like that is just as ignorant.

I've given up on the idea of marrying an american girl. I will date them now and have my fun with them but I'll be damned if I marry one just have them take me for all I got 5 years later.

Damn, that much bitterness can't be healthy! And stereotyping and generalization just make you seem childish. I'm guessing your not of american descent, and have/had a fettish for american girls at some point and it hasn't worked out for you yet. There are all kinds of american women, sounds like you just haven't found the right one yet.
I do think it is largely an American thing, where girls grow up having never had to do anything for themselves and with the expectation that looking good is the only thing they need to do in a relationship. However, I will argue aggressively with anybody that claims that you can't find a good girl in America.... you simply have to do a lot more searching than you would want. They're out there though. I will also say that the percentage of do-nothing females is much lower in other countries. The standards and expectations just seem to be a lot different. A "bad" female from another country will shop too much and then come back and cook dinner as oppossed to coming back and complaining about there being no food.
My family comes from Nigeria, and girls are all taught how to cook, and the children have to clean up after themselves and after the adults as well. I think that how you are raised is the most important factor, as it's almost impossible to un-spoil someone after they're an adult. Especially when a cute American girl will find plenty of chumps willing to continue spoiling her until her looks start to fade. A Nigerian woman who decided she wasn't going to cook and clean would die alone, most likely starving to death surrounded by her filth.
I think this is a curse of how well-off we are as Americans. Not many countries have an easily affordable food place on every corner. Only the well-off in this world can go though life thinking that feeding/clothing/cleaning up after themselves is an optional activity.
You are partially correct I wasn't born in this contry but I was raised here from a toddler. To the naked eye I am a white american as white as they come.
I can't speak from anything other than experience and my experience is with the northeast, tri-state area girls mostly. I've dated many different girls, some i was even in loving long term relationships with. Some loved to cook some didnt but in the end they still had the same princess mentatlity. I've also done alot of traveling and I love foreign women especially latin/south american descent. Gorgeous, passionate, caring, strong family values and old fashioned in a good way and they can cook up storm!
I will admit that perhaps living in the northeast and dealing with these girls has made me bitter, maybe down south or out west it is different but I haven't experienced that.

I would view it as a serious character flaw that couldn't be fixed. Cooking, cleaning, etc are a prequisite for anybody I would date. Especially the "must like to cook" thing - there's something special about a woman making your meal, plus I like to cook so it's something we can do together.

I'm from kentucky myself. And where I'm from the boys in my family were all taught to cook, clean, and take care of ourselves. I've expected the same from the women in my life.
As a married man, all I can say is pull your head out from under the rock. People only change when they want to change (very rare) you cannot force someone else to change (this applies to both genders).
