Arg... Sony Warranty.. I don't have the receipt! What can I do?

My Sony LCD just broke. I called the warranty center of Sony.

There is a 3 year warranty on the unit and the unit was manufactured in November 2000. Meaning... I still have a year of warranty. However Sony refuses to do the warranty because I don't have my receipt. They say it's a proof of purchase. = (

Anyone know what I can do? I bought the LCD from Frys by the way.

Does the credit card company know i purchased a LCD? Wouldn't it just show up as Fry's Electronics?
 
Where did you buy it? If you bought it from an excellent store such as Circuit City, you could just go to the store and they would gladly print you another copy of the receipt.
