This stinks! I was looking forward to going to the tractor pull Thursday night but instead I need to drive my butt to school and work on a program.

Man, I am sure going to miss those trucks this year. Stupid school.

Heck yeah! Big trucks pulling these big plow things to see how far they can go. Makes lots of noise.

I think I will be missing the demolition derby this year as well.

Bah to it all.

Dang!!

Tractor pulls rule especially the stock class when anyone can pull the sled with their trucks off the street. Pretty stupid to do it because at least half break ujoints or snap the driveshaft.

Lots of farm stocks in the tractor pull too and dang they can surely get loud.

Demolition derby is pretty sweet too, all them chevy wagons killing the other cars:D

Believe it or not:
In the 1970s, my grandmother was a demolition derby champion in eastern pennsylvania. She was in her late 50s. There was a writeup and photo of her in old issue of Sports Illustrated, which I have laying around somewhere.

Dammit
Stephen Schwartz and friends (Stephen Schwartz wrote, among other things, the music to: Pippin, Godspell, The Baker's Wife, Pocahontas, Prince of Egypt and The Hunchback of Notre Dame) is Friday and Annie Haslam (former lead singer of 70s power band Renaissance) is Sunday.

Musikfest! You can go to the beach anytime but only for one week a year can you go to Bethlem, see a concert, do the chicken dance, and eat an alligator burger all in the same night.

I'm seeing Lifehouse myself this year.. got free tickets.
