DanTMWTMP

Lifer
The word I'm looking for means "not based on scientific evidence."

I would use it in the following context:

"That business help book is based on only _____ evidence, therefore its advice should be taken with a grain of salt. There's no scientific backing for it."

It means "personal evidence."

help?

EDIT:

oh and THANKS mh47g!!!!!

Word is Anectodal! I can now live in peace for the day 🙂

Pseudo-science is not an adjective. God dammit, a fiery judgment will rain down upon you and your ilk--a punishment for your unspeakable crimes against the English language.
