Aren't people afraid of getting caught doing this?

Personally, I envy my brothers in the American Northwest. Only there does a man have the freedom (i.e. 10 miles b/t you and your neighbor) to blow wayward appliances sky-high.

Franky, I'm jealous.

wow, they're retarded... i hope they get in trouble.

i got to admit though, if they didn't put it on youtube then it would actually be pretty amusing.

Why? they were obviously in the middle of nowhere and were at a reasonably safe distance away.

Boys have been blowing sh*t up since the dawn of explosives.... its just a bit of fun.

What's so shocking about that? Back when I was a kid, we used to blow stuff up with M-80's and quarter sticks all the time. But this was before everyone became pansy-asses who aren't aren't allowed to run or play tag at school or play with toy guns.

QFT! "Quarter sticks" = Blockbusters in NYC. :D They were $5 each back in the late 70's. $5= $1000 for a kid like me back then. :( I remember once; we all chipped in our pennies and bought ONE. :Q

We ran around the park looking for something to blow up. :) We literally all took turns holding it. It was the equivalent of a successful puberty to a handful of young men who'd not yet entered puberty.

I don't remember what it was we blew up; only that it was over all too soon. Like losing my virginity; I remember that it happened, but not the high definition video, 7-channel Dolby Surround audio that accompanied the event.

Yes but firecrackers are not made of malleable iron. :Q

The point is home rolled crackers are a federal offense and these guys put up a video of it! That just screams stupidity on their part - not necessarily the blowing up part, but the part of getting time in the FPMITAP. :p

Maybe the real problem is that blowing up a dead oven far away from civilization in the middle of the woods is a federal offense.

Blowing it up on a crowded street would definitely be stupid and dangerous to all bystanders. But blowing it up in the woods? There are only trees and the active participants.

People just aren't very non-stupid. Those 'tubers' also love beating people up with full facial shots and school, town, time and date then posting it.

Well I didn't make the laws. :p

Even if they BLEVE'd it with LN2 I'm sure they could get fined for littering. But the fact that a pipe bomb was used will raise eyebrows at the BATF office.

People have been cited for participating in racing competition from their video handywork on youtube. The coppers have all kinds of neat stuff to catch people now. ;)

Well, considering they said "we've got to get the fsck out of here," suggests maybe that it wasn't their land they were using.
