I just finished it the other day. It was fun, not a great game but I enjoyed it so it was definitely worth the $30 I paid for it.

The storyline doesn't make much sense, and David Duchovny's voice over work is godawful, but other than that..

Those screens kind of remind me of System Shock 2 environments, though updated. Sometimes a good environment is almost enough to make me enjoy a shooter for a while

imageshack allows up to ~1MB filesize

Area 51 is an awesome FPS.

Early on, I felt even more scared than whilst playing AvP. The game creates suspense and it can be very tense when you first start fighting. The teamwork aspect makes it really weird as you have men screaming orders such as "behind us", "up on the balcony!".

The storyline is pretty useless I feel. The only thing that let it down if you can forgive the awful David Duchovny speeches. Graphics werent awesome but considering its a console port, it looks good and handles well.

Feels kind of like Half Life, they just ruined the story a bit earlier.

I kept reducing size until it took the files, and thats where it ended up

I'm playing through it now. They just unleashed the super theta on me.

It's a good, mindless shooter. Some parts are irritating just because you can't save. This game uses "checkpoints," which I hate.

For a console port, it looks good and runs awesome. I was getting dips to 30 FPS during a little test run I did with FRAPS. Rather confusing since Im only running a 1700+ at stock and 9800 Pro @ 430/365.

Graphics are current, and decent. Story isn't that great. I for one like Duchovny's voice acting.

It's a straight forward FPS game. Every boss is beaten by shooting them, a lot.

Edit: I just beat the game. Now should I take Battlefield 2 out of the shrink wrap?
