How do zombies tell the difference between other zombies and still-living humans? Like in Shaun of the Dead, the main characters just walked through a whole crowd while acting like zombies. Would that really work? :Q

good question. inherently, living ppl hvae a diff smell, but since Shaun or whatever his name was hung around zombies a lot, maybe he picked up zombie scent and fooled the other zombie.

zombies have embalming fluid in their veins, not blood. So no they are not warm blooded. They have no blood. They are not "blooded" at all. They are just undead. They are the same temperature as their surroundings so I guess that is closest to being cold blooded.

Step #1: Grab something solid and heavy, preferably a hammer or table leg. Failing this step, see step #3.

Step #2: Swing wildly at zombie until you hit it in the head. The zombie should now cause you no more trouble.

Step #3: Failing steps #1 and #2, simply walk away from the zombie. Traditional zombies are so slow that nobody could possibly find them intimidating.

I think they were going to Canada because Canadian brains aren't as big as the ones South of the border... At the slow walking rate zombies move, it would take them forever to get a decent sized meal and might take as many as 6 or 7 Canadians to satisfy them....a Zombie could starve in a place like that!

Yes and no, you see some zombies don't have blood because they were buried with blood extracted and embalming fluid replaced. Then there are the people who get bitten and come back as zombies, they have blood. Doesn't really matter though, they don't need blood, they just wander around using about 1-10% of their brains(usually the percentage that says "Im hungry")

Zombies can freeze?
Eventually, yes. Once they stop getting enough warm flesh, it will be very hard for them to move around. They will never die, though, since they are already dead. If a zombie was to be frozen it would be in a temporal state, one at which it could do nothing until it was thawed again, in which case it would immediately search for warm flesh to feast upon.

How do you kill zombies?
Shoot them in the head. You must sever the brain from the rest of the body since you don't want what little electric pulses are going to and from the brain and the body of the zombie. If the brain is damaged enough, the connections are severed and the zombie cannot "use" his body. Technically you want to chop the bodies up into little pieces and/or burn them(don't inhale the fumes) for safe measures. Also, always do the same for dead bodies you come across, just to be sure.

Going north solves it?
Yes, and no. You will always run, but more than likely you will die before the zombies do, in which case you have a good chance of becoming a zombie yourself. Running is not the answer, the answer is to form a very qualified team of well trained gunsmen and travel around the world in a tank or heavily armored vehicle and destroying every zombie. Hiding is another failed attempt, you will eventually die off, go crazy, run out of food, or get killed by zombies, in which case you will become one again.
