Are your wires neat and tidy? Or all over the place

i got a shizzzzload of wires running every which way.... including 2 phone wires from the kitchen to my room... well today my mother flipped and decided to unplug em... and told me to find a way to run them above a door frame or along the bottom in a very secure fasion.... wtf am i supposed to do to fasten some phone cords down.... grrr..
 
You should come over and see my mess of speak, headphone, microphone, phonelines, cat 5, power cord and, mouse keyboard cables. (you dont even wanna look in my case)

You can get these white little hooks things that have a nail in one end and a plastic C to hold the wire down. It works good for speaker cabling

I have lots of wires. I wouldn't crawl under my desk if I was you.
 
I have a mes of wires...

It's just scary once you get behind both of my computers, I mean, you get back there and get tangled up, you'll never get out!

Yes, i have those right now.. just debating if i want to install them.. kinda scary puttin holes above doorways... 🙁 i'll go to a hardware store tomorrow for another solution..

soudns like my room, with each outlet filled up, add to that the cat 5, phone cords, AV and RCA cables, tv cable, speaker wire, the list goes on and on... so much stuff its crazy.
 
i have a router, cable modem, 4 cat5 cables, 2 computers and other computer related equipment in my room... if you add books, notebooks, my bike, bookbags, clothes and other various stuff you can barely see the floor
 
i have those plastic tubes that are open along the side so you can stick all your wires going in 1 direction in it so its all neat and tidy 🙂
 
i got rid of a lot of the cat5 when i switched over to the wireless ethernet.. still have some tucked around though.
 
for the wires...go to a local hardware sture and ask them for "U-shaped" nails. They can be hammered at an angle and fasten any wire/cable to the wall...they come in steel or white...

great solution...

Rat's nest here. Years ago I tried binding them and/or running them through little tubes. But with all the tinkering I do with my rigs, that quickly fell by the wayside.
