As a parent I'd rather have my kid playing Civ III (his favorite game at 9 years old) than running the streets. . .

Heh, my dad used to play a motorcycle racing game for the old old Sega Master System we had. Since then nothing.

My mom never played until I bought her a 3d mahjong game. Now that's all she does 🙂

My wife doesn't mind that I play - she plays Civ III every now and then and even likes to watch me play more "complicated games"

i'm 20 and my dad still gives me grief, but kinda accepts it

my mom is only annoyed in the fact that i used to plya command and conquer redalert2 to classical scores. She said it made me look like an evil genius or something, sending waves of men to their deaths while listening to mozart. *shrugs* 😛

I just pictured that and it makes me laugh. 😛

The only real problem with playing games is it's too easy to get sucked in and lose track of time.

I'm a mom and I play video games. My teenage son & his friends like to play MarioKart etc with me because they can beat me. But I can get back at them by ordering pizza and then not sharing with them. Ha!!!
