I was finger printed decades ago as a kid. Probably something when I was a cub scout or something...

Yup, they took 'em after I took my polygraph before I was hired.

polygraph... blah... i refused to apply for any dept that requires a polygraph. i have nothing to hide, i just dont think that it should be a requirement for a job where trusting your employees is first priority

I have them on file with the government from Military days (as well as DNA sample) and From a contract I worked on after my military days.

Also from when I was bonded and had a back round check run at another job.

And with the DMV from when I sold cars

So pretty much all of the above!

Our house was robbed years ago, they took all our prints to tell good guys from bad guys.

I'm not sure. I had to submit fingerprints to run background checks for immigration.. do they keep those after they run em? Probably, I'd guess.

You have to get prints at the DMV to get your license. I'm sure mine are there, but that's it.

when we were in kindergarden or 1st -3rd grade, it's been a long time ago, somewhere in there they took us to the police station and fingerprinted us all so "we could be found easier if our parents ever lost us" i think is what they told us

big crock of crap
