Was talking to a buddy to got taken in for public drunk over the weekend, and he was bitching that he was "in the system" now, he had never been arrested before.

I dont think mine are on file anywhere, except for the aliens who probed me, probably fingerprinted me.

I got fingerprinted as a kid... just in case I ever forgot who I was.

Didnt think of that one. I wonder how long until we will have to have fingerprints on our passports.

I had two sets taken by campus police when my roommate and I were charged with misdemeanor-petty larceny for stealing a bunch of campus signs.

My favorite sign was "This space is reserved for the President of XXXXXXX University."

Thank goodness for a one-time expungement program.

Same here. Wonder who has them now.

i also got them as a kid. i remember having it done to me in preschool. i'm not sure if they came to the school or what, as i don't recall that much, but surprisingly, i actually do recall the incident.

In 1980 or so Pepsi sponsored an ID card program where you got an ID with a thumbprint. It sounded cool to my young mind so I pestered mom until she took me to it. Looking back not only was the the concept complete nonsense, but while my Pepsi ID only had a thumbprint the officers took a full five digit set. I've often wondered since what became of that fingerprint card.

I remember because I was at an airshow with my grandfather. I have no idea why they were doing it at an airshow, but I vividly remember getting fingerprinted in a hangar.

During the Big War all of us kids were fingerprinted so we could be ID'd in the rubble after the bombing.

I wonder if the authorities ever kept the records? Probably not.
