I'm going to try and skip out of work early to go vote....I forgot to update my voter registration after I moved so I have to drive an extra 30 mins to get to my polling place.

No, because I havent educated myself on the background and goals of each running politician. I don't want to ruin it for all the others who actually did their homework, nor would I want to accidentally randomly pick some dude who turns out to be a total bastage and "for" everything that I am "against".

To much effort for something I care to little about.

I used to care a little about politics but have come to realize that all sides of politics are out of touch.

Maybe one day if there is a real 3rd party that is much more middle of the road then I would.

That's what I came here to say. We would be better off if only the informed citizens voted.

I feel the exact same way. Yet it seems that so many people are quick to criticize those who choose not to vote. I've never been into politics and could really care less who wins... they're probably all douchebags.
