I had to go with 60/40. If I had no other choice, was in a battleground state, Bush v Kerry, I'd vote Bush. But since I'm not, I'm most likely voting 3rd party.

Still at about 75%, even with the ballot-stuffing. This might be a good topic to discuss sometime after the election.

How do we find someone who has enough money to campaign and is still honest enough to respect?

Good poll!

I wouldn't vote dem unless a moderate dem that wasn't pro-choice ran. Then I'd have to think hard.

Bush isn't my ideal man but he supports the major tenants of the party.

Are you kidding? If ANY of the candidates likely to win (read: Bush OR Kerry) wins it will be a reaffirmation of the indifference to the erosion of the principles on which the USA was founded. Neither Kerry nor Bush are good candidates, neither makes a good president.

I find myself, in this election, *incredibly* depressed at the choices I have.

I wish I had the answer to that one :) I suspect it will require the overthrow of BOTH the Democrats and the Republicans as our major parties.

I dunno, he seems to not give a damn about the "smaller, less intrusive government" tenet. He also doesn't seem to give a damn about cutting spending or limiting government handouts.

That's a real challenge. It's not that there are no honest wealthy people. I just can't imagine there are many people who are both honest and wealthy thinking it was worth it to go through the scrutiny. You would have to be either a public service saint or really lust after power to put yourself out like that. If you have that kind of lust for power, you have likely compromised your integrity many times already.
