I am not a fan of new default forum layout, but at least the VB or Darkly layouts offer some respite.

None of the above

For official themes, I like crono's dark theme

They are all pretty terrible. I've tried the other 2 and they worked okay for a while but then something just felt off about them.

Whichever theme can get the quick nav on the left side like VB had will be the one I use.

I did have it on the default one but switched recently to the dark version. So far I like it and it's a nice change. :)

None of the above, I hacked together something that kinda works in Stylish myself. Links are a terrible color, and some things I can't see at all, but I don't care enough.

I tried the VB Theme for a while, but (at the time) some things were out of place or missing. I just stuck with the white. I wish it were more compact though.

I tried the dark, but at work the switch from the dark screen back to a light screen was just too dramatic. So switched to the VB theme.

That's exactly why I never use dark themes. When I switch tabs from a dark site to a light site it's like starring into a 1000 watt bulb.

Right now I'm using the tan Stylish theme.

I use Ken's VB theme and Crono's dark theme. Just depends on the device. (I still use the Stylish codes and not the beta forum themes at the bottom of the page (though they are from the same sources), which would default to my account and with one of those themes, was not compatible with the Stylish code that removes the right-side bar nonsense.)

I'm using dark. Now I can glance away from the monitor and immediately probe my dark/dim surroundings without waiting for my eyes to adjust.
Not totally satisfied though. In A Forum Darkly theme needs moar contrast, frankly. Posts' main text should be lighter gray, and the thread title links are hard to read in midnight blue.

well, this thread is where i just learned they now offer a couple of other themes. I switched to the vb blue. still extra wasted space and my post to display still isn't taking effect.

This was one response I was hoping for. I was so put off by the change I wasn't enthusiastic about AT anymore. After discovering the different themes, I am regaining interest, which hopefully other people might find as well! ;)
