Are you upgrading to a GeForce4 once the cards hit the market?

Question says it all... I'm curious what percentage of Anandtech will jump on the bandwagon..

either the 4400 or 4200. i have a gf3 ti200 right now. will see if i can get 130$ for it. would pay 50$ for a ti4200, dunno if i would do 150 more for a ti4400 though...

Well, the MX series really SUCKS (they're really GeForce 2 cards), which was a real dissappointment to me. I may get a GF4 TI card if the price is right *eyeballs upcoming TI4200*

Right now, my GF3 TI200 is almost as fast as a TI500, and I haven't even added any fans to it or anything. It should keep me going fine for awhile. Those TI200s are my card of choice - cheap price for REAL performance.

I just bought a geforce 3 TI-200 so that should last me through at least one 6 month product cycle. I wonder how ATI will counter the gefore 4 i havent really thought about it. I have hopes that ATI can get more market share, not because I like them, but because that would mean competition, and competition helps benifit the consumer, ME!:D I cant wait till games actually take advantage of our new fast systems. Looks like Nvidia wants geforce 4's in most new computers Over $1500, maybe less?( im talking about companies like dell shifting over to the new card not homegrown systems) That can only be good for the market i think

If ATi's next card doesn't interest me I'll be upgrading my GF3 Ti500 to a GF3 Ti4600.

Not a chance. I can still do 4X FSAA at 1024x768 with my GF2 Ti in the majority games that I play, and a few I need to drop to 2X FSAA. So I've no desire to get a GF4.
I don't play enough games, nor games that are terribly dependent upon the video card to make it even remotely worthwhile.
I probably won't upgrade until I find something that's truly a huge boost, and the GF4 is all to similar to the GF3 architecturally.
I'll wait till we see some NV30/R300 cards at decent prices before I upgrade my video card.

Will you sell me your Ti500 BFG?

It's very likely that you live a very long way from me so the logistics of such a sale would not be easy.

None of the above.

I'm going to see how much the Ti4200's sell for, and if it's too much I'll maybe get a Ti500 or Ti200. I don't really feel I need a new video card at the moment, so I'm in no rush.

Edit: I meant 4400. Not 4200.

Heck, I guess I probably should wait for that too

BFG10K,

I'll send a $125 money order to you right now for your Ti 500. When you get the Money Order you ship the card to me within 24 hours insured for $125. You can send it regular USPS delivery. I'm willing to trust you. All I ask is that you handle and pack the card carefully. Watch that ESD when you're removing the card and packing it. What say you?

ti200 tdh, 220/540. yeah, i think i'll stick with it. might look at new stuff when ati and kyro peeps come out with their stuff, but that will be a couple of months. at least. and only if i'm feeling the pain. but daoc runs pretty much fine on my geforce 256 (120/200 yeah!) at 1024x768. so the ti is overkill. but 4x AA is nice since i can't read the text higher than 1024x768 or so.

Yes, but I'm waiting to see a roundup review rating 2D image quality and overclockability. I'm hoping Gainward keeps the title.

So it will be a month or two, at least.

I'm probably going to wait for the next gen to come out. I'm happy with my GF3 Ti200.

<< I'm going to wait and see what ATI has up their sleeve, it all depends what happens with my order for the $129 Xtasy Geforce4 Ti4600 . >>

I jumped on this band wagon as well. If this goes through, I'm sayin goodbye to my GF3!!!

i'm looking at one in a couple of months for a new machine i will be building myself, but by then ati should have their next cards out, but for now i am impressed with what the gf4 has given us, but i don't game that much yet, so i'm sticking w/ my gf2 mx until i build my new machine... but if for some reason my card just so happens to crap out ;) i would either go with the one that seems good for the money (either 4200 or 4400, i kinda want the 4400 so that i can remember my good old stb velocity 4400 original tnt :) )

you know that isn't going to work as you don't have a profile with an email addy in it and you don't have your PM enabled and if he/she/it( ?) would sell it would probably be to someone in NZ. uhm...oh yeah the Gforce4 question...lol...I'm with Woody419 on this here operation..
