I shan't say when I lost it, but I was older than 6. Anyway I have a good friend from childhood who is 26 and if I had to bet on it I'd say he's still a virgin. He's never had a girlfriend or anything. he may have gotten it on with his nasty little roomate once (she was haunting), but otherwise he's not doing so well.

I thought I was too old with mine, but then I realized it's no big deal. I was the same as you, had friends that lost it years before me, thinking that meant something, but it really didn't. I was 18 when I lost my big V, but I don't look at it as a big deal.
