I don't understand how the Cayman won't eat into 911 sales. I mean, it looks just as good if not better, share probably 90% of its parts, costs less, and has better weight distribution with the engine in the middle instead of at the rear.

I would imagine they're aiming it straight at the people would otherwise opt for a Corvette.

Those who can afford a 911 will probably still get one (status), those who are suddenly offered a Porsche at $5-10K more than a Vette...
