Well, I see that the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade got enough exceptions to NYC's COVID regulations to get produced.

Of course, it's still a 3-hour-long infomercial for its sponsors, but at least most of the people in it are wearing masks.

Same here ... far as I'm concerned Black Friday is a really good reason to completely avoid any store especially this year.

Lots of folks will be bringing home Covid-19 for a holiday stocking-stuffer! 🙁

Walmart already cancelled one order of mine and it was the first order I had even done with them online. Product was in stock and sold by them but that didn't mean a hill of beans. I engaged them last night online and they called me. The person seemed like he wasn't from Amurika and had trouble picking up on cultural ques. I had to contest the cancellation and replace the order but now let's see if it actually holds this time.

I'm actually cool with masks being permanent is some situations. Any sort of public transport I'd like everyone to be wearing a mask from now on. Flying is much nicer with everyone in masks.
 
went for a hike on thanksgiving day.
did all my BF shopping online. so today i need to paint some walls in the house, and continue recovering from yesterday's hike.

Yesterday (TG), I did my daily roller skating of the streets here before my neighbor, who called me in the morning asking if I'd like a TG meal put on my porch (I said yeah, if you want to!) supplied my dinner. Gonna do it again in a few, the skate, the rest of the fixins.
