It's certainly openly on display with the anti-Gamergate crowd, but it's not limited to that. It's overwhelmingly the more liberal judges who give out sentences with little or no jail time to child molesters, and tremendous numbers of the outspoken left are on board with Roman Polanski. As Whoopi said, drugging a fourteen year old and sodomizing her isn't "rape" rape. Oprah perhaps best vocalizes it when she claims that children are merely adults with less life experience. Although she certainly wasn't advocating for child rape, describing children thusly certainly supports the view that there is nothing inherently evil in adult-child sex. Given that Western Liberalism is responsible for laws protecting children from abuse in other areas, clearly this is a striking bifurcation from that movement, which most emphatically did not consider children as merely adults with less life experience.

Just now got my energy supply up from the trip back home. I see the debate is alive and well. A special shout out to werepossum who is indeed a gentleman.

I am proud to say that I am a progressive Democrat and make no excuses for it. I am tired of the wealthy controlling the elections, I am for UHC, I am for the raising of the minimum wage and I am for Higher Education for all who want to take advantage of it.

I still have hopes for Bernie but will gladly vote for Hillary over The Trump 8 days a week.

And why is that? Elaborate. Defend your position with points of interest and facts rather than the usual rebuttal of "No, you are!" to every single accusation that applies to you.

For just one example, you cry for safe spaces, you're mocked for it by several people (with good reasons why provided), then you rebuff/mock others with "X needs a safe space! Ha ha!"

This is the smelly kid who observes that the room approves when someone calls him 'smelly', so he figures it's a good rebuttal insult. Then he uses the "you're smelly!" argument against others and wonders why it's totally ineffective...

A progressive in congruence with the agenda believes that the minimum wage should be increased, Universal Health Care, Higher Education for all, the planet that we live on is facing catastrophic weather changes and that we could and should do something about it yesterday.
