Are you more of a homebody during Winter?

All of my friends keep calling me up and wanting to hang out and I find myself making excuses for not doing it. When I sat down and thought about why I haven't wanted to, I realized that I didn't feel like getting all bundled up, driving a cold car, etc... when I could stay in my warm house. But at the same time, I feel sorta listless while at home.

Do you tend to stay in during the winter or do you not let it affect your social life?

This time of the year is the worst...it gets dark at four fucking thirty. It really starts to wear on you. Fortunately, Christmas comes and sort of distracts you and then the days start to get longer again.

Ya, a lot of the time I sleep through all of the daylight hours.

I'd go out if you were there. 😱

Yes, in fact it has ruined relationships for me. I'm the most outgoing guy when the weather is good and although I'll still go out and do crazy stuff in the winter, my heart just isn't in it.

well ya.. then there's that. 😛

but really, it's depressing sitting home. if friends call you should go!

I am like that in the summer.

I am always outside in the wintertime, and I love the snow. I did not pay $16,000 for my snowmobile just so I can sit inside and stay warm.

This is the best time for hunting cougar, chukar, and coyotes as well, so I am out with friends doing that almost every weekend.
