Are you like me?

*A midterm in 30 mins
*Didn't study at all, but cramming at the LAST hour.
*When I'm pushed against time I absorb knowledge like a massive sponge.
* I always manage to pull off a solid B.
*I hate myself for this because I know I can always get A as long as I try....

You always sometimes manage to pull a solid B?

WTF does that mean?

And after every test you swear to yourself that you won't let that happen again... then you don't remember that you swore that until 30 mins before your next midterm?

YOU'LL BE BACK... *shakes fist* 😉

I'm the same way buddy, I thrive under pressure but hate "cramming", yet am great at it... I've found that when you do actually study, it will make solid A's 90% of the time 😉

I am EXACTLY the same way. I get solid As if I do the work. However, I usually study at the last possible minute while reading ATOT (as I am doing at this exact moment in fact.. midterm in 35 hurs) and I get Bs

im the same way, but i just didnt bother studying and still got Bs, i coudl have pulled a 4.0 eaisily if i tried or cared but i didnt and dont

Just out of curiousity... are you paying your own tuition? Or do your parents pay it for you?

🙂

That probably has a lot to do with my transition from highscool study habits to university habits. I worked 2 jobs for a year to pay my way here, I'm not going to screw around and waste that time/money.

I'm exactly the same...but my grades started slipping in the second half of my junior year, so now I've set time aside for studying/homework.

Oh, and I work.

Yes...exceipt I usually squeaked by with a "barely A"...which always tempted me to do it again. vicious cycle. Definitely caused me to do badly ona few tests because 99% of the time it worked perfectly. The only way I'd go back to college/education is for something I actually enjoyed studying for.
