I'm not really sure... I do most things with my left... but I write with my right... Does that mean I'm ambidextrous?
No, you need to be able to use both equally well

i do . . . the N-52 requires it and it is too weird to switch on a regular KB.Originally posted by: Ornery
Gee, this has never been covered before!
...anyway, do many of you left handers use your right hand for mousing?

I can do a lot of things with my left hand. I can't write with it or throw with it, though...so I guess I'm not truly ambidextrous.

That isn't quite fair. Handwriting takes practice. If one regularly chooses a hand for a certain task it will be more proficient at that task than the other one.Originally posted by: silverpig

Can you write just as well with your left hand as you do with your right? Like very similar speed and quality?
Writing simultaneously with both hands takes practice . . .Originally posted by: Armitage
I had a prof in college who was ambidextrous. He started the first class by going up to the board and writing an equals sign in the middle of a panel. Then, while talking over his shoulder to the class, he proceeded to write both sides of a fairly involved equation simultaneously. I don't think my brain could multitask that way even if my left hand did work that way.
Pretty much freaked everybody out.
He didn't do that particular trick much, but would always switch hands in the middle of writing something.
