Just recieved a call from fedex....

They lost my package....

Thats two today, one from fedex, one from UPS going to my parents..... (the second time from UPS in less than 2 weeks)

This is the first time any company has lost my packages... Is there some kinda strike going on or something?

No strike that I know of, and I have yet to lose anything. Hope you had insurance on them, if not then hopefully they'll find them

Both coming from different companies, no insurance = i do a chargeback on my CC.

Can you do that though? If they prove that they shipped it, then it's not technically their fault that it didn't get to you, screwing them out of the money may not technically be legit. I honestly wouldn't know, like I said I've never lost a package

If they had a strike your packeges would be stopped, not lost.

Try using USPS with all the Signature Confirmation and Tracking info.
It may cost twice as much, but I think its worth it for important stuff.

I have a $1500 ring coming to me, I called after ordering and bugged the operator until he swore on his mother's life to make sure there was insurance/tracking on the package. I didn't care if I had to pay for it, no way in HELL I was going to take a chance like that with something that expensive.
