No. Although I have a, er, "friend" who lives in Los Angeles (I'm in San Jose) that I go see every couple of months. It's not a relationship, per se, but more of a friends with benefits kind of thing. I've known this person for almost a year now.

Anything that can be driven round trip in a day doesn't deserve to be called long distance.

132 miles?

Please, that's a two hour drive.

Oh, ~2600 miles from Portland, OR to Pittsburgh, PA.

Used to be. 1,000 miles away.

Maybe I still am. Current G/F lives an hour away, but we see each other every weekend. Same area code though..so I guess not, right?

Yup. She's finishing up college, while I moved back to San Diego.

Distance is about 500 miles.

We've been together for about 2 years and about 6 months of it has been long distance (so far).

It hasn't been that bad. We try to visit every other weekend. And during the weekdays, we are both so busy that maybe it's for the best we aren't with each other to distract each other. I know we had our best semester (academically) during the time when we were apart.

I would never get into a long distance relationship. I couldn't trust the person and I'm sure the person couldn't trust me

Hey Cait, I was in one until last week. 6000 miles away (Korea). Last week she told me she slept with another guy twice. She said she still wanted to be together but I haven't talked to her since. Everyone knows long distance relationships are very difficult to make work but when you're with someone for a year you can't just give it up. *Shrug*
I would talk to her every day on the phone and do like webcam chatting often also. Then for two weeks I didn't hear from her much and then she finally resurfaced. >.<

Well, if you call 60 miles "long distance", then yes (well, it's long distance for me anyway, and relative in the UK). We see each other at weekends only :(

Been together about 11 months, we finally decided to hook up sometime in March last year :)

Yup. I'm in Vancouver, BC, she goes to school in PA.

Been together about 6 months, been friends for a few years. She used to live in Vancouver but is now going there for school.
In fact, I'm going to be living with her for the summer (May - August). =D Looking forward.

Theorically you can make it from Austin to San-Francisco in less than 24 hours. Does that not count? ;)

Well you can't drive Austin->SF->Austin in one day so, by Viper GTS's standarads, I guess not. ;)

Yes. I live in Charlotte and she lives in Maine. She is staying with her mom up there since she couldn't afford school anymore. It's not too bad since we've been dating for almost 6 years but it still sucks. Hopefully she'll be coming back down this year sometime.
