Are you happier now or ten years ago?

Hmm let's see, 10 years ago I would of been 13, so I was most likely in elementary getting teased by that guy I still wish I had beaten up. So yeah, I'll go ahead and say I'm way happier now, that I have a job, I'm done school, and I live in my own house.

hm.. hard to choose...

right now i'm dating a girl 1/2 my age
10yrs ago, i was dating a different girl who was also 1/2 my age

decisions, decisions...

10 years ago i was 17 and getting ready to turn 18

That might be the most awesome time of my life up until the day I decide to retire

fall of '99 I was fresh off my breakup with my hs bf and in the midst of waging an epic war over our mutual friends.

so I'm gonna go with now.

being 9 FTW

That... maybe. :/ Although, I have to say... I was probably less concerned with where my life was going, what was happening, and all that... I was just in 4th grade being a loser. So, maybe back then because I was obvious with my situation, compared to now... and that I know what my situations were like and are now compared to others. >_>

Same here. It's hard to beat an awesome Senior year full of parties, drunk high school girls, and no responsibilities. 1999/2000 was a great year.

Ten years ago I was 15, living it up in high school, playing video games all the time, spending most of my time hanging out with friends and irresponsibly spending money.

Of course there was the teenage angst and all that, but I'd say ten years ago for me.

She's standing right behind you, isn't she?

For sure she is.

1999 was not a good time for me. I was a 14-year-old awkward teenager with self-esteem issues and an ugly overbite. Now 2002-2004 was easily the best damn time of my life. Started college in 2002, had gotten a personality makeover the previous year after I started hanging out a lot with my older brother and his friends...had the fun dial cranked up to a constant 11. Overbite was fixed by then, learned several things about the importance of social groups and friends, articulating ideas and not being shy and withdrawn from society.

Send me back to 2002 please. Life was awesome, easy and just about everything was a new experience. At 24, I already (sometimes) feel jaded and bored.

10 years ago...Back then I was only 12, back then the world felt mystical and I never have worry about my life for the next 4 years, and friends then are less inhibited.
