Nawh, I canceled my preorder, and am gonna use the money on a new rifle and a few thousand rounds of ammo instead.
 
[The only reason why I do the midnight launches and first showings is just for the heck of it. I personally don't like everyday life (I find it incredibly boring) so I like to make things like this into something different (it reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd get excited for just about everything).

I mean, I don't get caught up in all the hoopla and go crazy and I wouldn't spend an extra 50% to get something just because its new, but sometimes its just kinda cool to do something different.

Its all the better if you can drag your friends into it and make it into something memorable. Around the time when GT3 was supposed to launch, several of my friends and I went on a road-trip to a bunch of different towns (lived in a small town that doesn't have any place to buy games or anything) to see if we could find it. Apparently it hadn't actually been released yet, and so we couldn't get it, but it was still fun anyways.
