Let me let you in on a little secret Koing, most of AT is filled with poor highschool/college kids or tight old folks. A typical AT response to your shoes would be:

"WHAT? $200 for weightlifting shoes? I can get a great pair of workout shoes from Payless for $20 and they are just as good."
 
No, because for $500, you can get a spanking new Sony Ericsson Phone when it just comes out. Hey, the K800 is only $350 on ebay now.

SE K750s debuted with 2 MP capabilities in May 2005. We're in 2007 and Apple is finally showing off 2MP? Same with Moto?? LAFF MOTO... MOto Razrs still stuck at what.. 1.3? Plus they suck in quality.... and talk about the horrible VGA RaZr cameras still around.

SE is announcing the K890/900 soon and that will feature 5MP capabilities. Even the SE W810i is dirt cheap now. The next gen Walkman phones will still be better.

The Ericsson has the same sh!tty interface all the other phones have. Apple's iPhone is what I'd call a revolutionary and very innovative interface (as far as phones are concerned). All the other phones do is beef up their specs year after year and stick you with the same sh!tty interface. I'd like a 5MP phone, but I'd rate the interface MUCH higher. I'd even go as far as saying Apple's interface is the main selling point for me.

Curious, have any of you talking smack about the iPhone even gone to Apple's site to see the demo of the iPhone's interface?

I could make do with normal work out shoes 😛 but I intend to actually weightift in these. My old pair are still holding up really well. I only use them for ~ 9-12hrs a weeks and I don't run in them. Only for weightlifting. I'll lend mine out ot my mate so he has real shoes to lift in.

The interface looks seriously slick. It will suck not having it play my divx movies though...really hoping it actually works as decribed!

It isn't cheap but nor are higher end big screen tvs or bleeding edge graphics cards.

SE does NOT have a sh!tty interface compared to other phones. Samsung and Nokia are mediocre. Moto is just trash. Apple's interface might be REVOLUTIONARY, but it better be as good as the iPod's click wheel, or else I'd still take a d-pad/joystick anyday.

Take a look at the iPhone's interface and then come back and tell me the SE is not sh!tty. There is just no comparison.
 
No way. I don't need a battery eating, smudge/scratch prone device.
I need my phone to do one thing, make phone calls and mabey do text msg, though I don't like text msg that much.

Definitely not. I paid around $50 for my cellphone, and that's more than I wanted to spend on it. Can't stand the things. But they are useful - maybe twice a year.
 
OH HE|| NO!! its such a waste of money, and I can't wait for people to claim that their digitizers broke and they can't call 911!! (This has happened to several PDAs of mine!)

I just looked at the interface. I don't see anything revolutionary. SE UI is just as easy to use too.
