I hated the Snorks, they were the lower class relation of the Smurfs as far as I was concerned. 😛
 
Dont you guys remember when the smurfs got infected and turned purple, said Gnap, Gnap, Gnap and bit the tails of others to infect them? Once of my favorite episodes.

I loved the smurfs. Then one day.........

I saw this episode where Smurfette wanted a new boyfriend or whatever.
She ended up not going with anyone because as she insisted to all the p.o.'ed horny smurfs:"but I love ALL of you!". But to my great surprise they showed Papa Smurf trying to court her and lifting weights to try and impress her. My innocent little mind thought: he's their Papa...he shouldn't be wanting to be her boyfriend.
So either they have some kind of sick commune where that kind of thing is allowed or Papa Smurf really was'nt their papa.
Either way, it disturbed me enought to keep it lodged in my memory to this day.......
Needless to say my over protective parents forbade us to watch the Smurfs after a while.
