Are you fat? You might...

Maybe I should so AT and everyone in OT for making me waste my time everyday. That's what I'll do! I'll see all you sorry bastards in court :|

<< While individuals surely bear responsibility for what they eat and whether they move, some nutrition and legal experts say we may not be entirely at fault.

Some say the food industry ? particularly fast food, vending machine and processed food companies ? should be held accountable for playing a role in the declining health of the nation, just as the tobacco industry ultimately was forced to bear responsibility for public health costs associated with smoking in its landmark $206 billion settlement with the states.
>>

So, because the government got away with blackmailing the tobacco companies, they should be allowed to blackmail the food companies? What's next?

Effing dumbass panty waist liberals...
:disgust:

That's so farking stupid I want to beat my groin into a pulp out of pure anger.

I can stand nothing less than full grown adults who are unwilling to take responsibility for their own lives. Buck the f#%k up and stop blaming your own stupidity and laziness on others!

When was the last time mcdonalds said that their food didn't make you fat? There is no deception like the cigarette companies used. Disgusting. Some people are stupid I want to dash my head on the sidewalk out of frustration!

<< "It's not fair," Nestle said. "People are confronted with food in every possible way to eat more. The function of the food industry is to get people to eat more, not less." >>

Poor whiney little babies. How about next time you drive past mcdonalds you look down at your disgusting self and just say "no". Lots of other people do it! I'm sure we'd all love to eat chocholate and pizza and burgers all day but some of us have the basic common sense to consume these products in moderation.

Skoorb just scared the hell out of me, im going to McDonalds and im gonna eat all that i can eat then fall asleep then go into a "shame spiral" then keep eating, gain 80 pounds (more than half my current weight lol) then sue Skoorb and McDonalds for making me depressed so i eat like a fat idiot and eat fatty foods which make me fatter!

Skoorby is right, people are retarded. what next? suing a carpet manufacturer because carpet holds dust which can agitate asthma?

isn't it ironic how some poor people are fat idiots too? if ya don't have money you shouldn't be wasting what you have on McDonalds
(NOTE* I love McDonalds and i am not spreading hate in any way and i take no responsibility for the opinions of others caused on my part by saying McDonalds is the place making you fat which it does not by actions of the fat person alone)

Ahhh...the American way. None of our problems are our fault. It always can be blamed one someone else. Jeez...

That never works. I just turn around and say "yes". 😀

get somebody to strap you into a bed for a week, your body will sorta starve but start to eat it's own fat (and muscle).

by the end of the weak you will have lost a bunch of weight (and muscle) 😀
my advice always ends up in somebody being hospitalized for some reason though, probably just a coincidence. 😉

And everyone laughs at my "slippery slope" arguments against the abdication of personal responsibility.

Go figure. ANY libertarian has been telling everyone that this would happen. First sex, then alcohol, then drugs, then cigarettes, and now fatty foods.

i don't remember hearing about anybody blaming their sexual incompetence on somebody else (with exception to Clinton and his "I'm addicted to sex" whatever the hell that means!)

hey am i addicted to oxigen? sounds about as dumb as saying addicted to sex so i'm askin.

The first personal liberty to be restricted in the US was sex for profit and "immoral" sex. That was my point.

IMVHO, a better description would have been "the American legal system's way". Next stop is somebody suing their parents for being stupid.

with all this suing going around we should probably stop calling places by name, it would suck for anandtech to get sued by some dumb ass company

all this talk about fatty foods is making me hungry for some McDowels 😀 (from that show welcome to america or whatever with eddie murphy 😉)
they have the golden arches, we have the golden arcs
