Double wow.

I'd offer you a cookie, but it sounds like you haven't eaten anything in the last ten months and it'd probably upset your stomach.

Diet and Excersize, all it was heh. Not even diet, just switching foods up to eat very clean.

I'd prolly upset my stomach though since I rarely eat anything with sugar in it 🙁

I'll take a feta cheese stuffed chicken breast though :Q

fixed and keep going! gj

Are you saying diet has nothing to do with it?

News to me. I've been working out every other day for the past year and I have only just maintained my weight. You need to do both.

And again, diet doesn't mean "going on a diet" as in doing the SlimFast plan or something. It means not eating cookies or fried food no matter how much you want to, and only eating when you're hungry, and not overeating. It means your eating habits as a whole.

But you're a known troll and lunatic anyway, so nevermind.

What's your "workout"? If it primarily aerobics like running, walking, jogging, stairs, dance, swimming, bicycles, you are decreasing your metabolic rate, or at the most not changing it. To increase metabolic rate, pump iron.

During winter: racquetball for ~45-60 minutes
During summer: either racquetball or biking

Not going to lose much weight doing that. Your heart likes it.

Wear 34 but with a belt. Most likely, could wear a 32.

Lost 50 pounds between Feb. 08 and Sept. 08.

Might have gained a pound or two back..but starting walking program up again.

You have the studies for this? Since I have only seen studies that say the reverse, but there will be many many bodybuilders who will be happy they don't have to do any cardio to cut BF 🙂

Q: Why do we call the part above the knees and below the chest on women the "waist?"

A: Because you can fit another set of tits!

I don't get this. I see no reason to be more proud of a 28 inch waistline than a 30 inch waistline. At anything below 30 you're moving out of the "slim and trim waistline" category and into the "14 year old girl waistline" category.

Edited for clarity.

Here is a hint for you since you apparently fail to comprehend this subject matter based on your above post: Different people have different body shapes and builds.

Shocking, isn't it? I mean really, it's way the hell out there to think that for some people a 30" waist is optimal and for others that maybe a 32" waist is optimal.

When I was fit I had a 42" chest and a 28" waist - eventually gained some college weight and went up to 30" waist but in no way did I have the figure of a "14 year old girl" (and what the hell does that clueless statement mean, anyhow?).

Right now I am a bit chubby with a 32/33" waistline - to get back to a trim figure I should be at 30", i.e. sub-32.

What are you talking about? I've seen plenty of people with sub-30 inch waistlines. They all would have looked better with a little more meat on them. 75% of them were that type of guy who says they "eat a ton but can't gain any weight", yet I never saw them eat half of what I could put away in a meal. And yes, some of them were reduced to buying women's jeans from time to time because they rarely found any that fit.

Where is my option damn it?

I was going to put that, but the most common sizes are even numbered and I wanted a better picture of waist sizes. Having all those stupid odd numbers (like my own 33) would have made it less dramatic. So I picked 34 because in reality thats what I wear, with a belt. I cant do 32 because it hurts my stomach after a few hours.

Pick 32 or 34, or protest and pick nothing. 🙁

I think mine is like 31 or 32, even when I didn't work out long time ago, I have never had a gut it would just seem weird to me

These people are thin, but not fit or at optimal health. Thin != fit. Also, one's height has an impact - a 6'6" person with a 20 BMI will have a larger waistline than a 5'3" person with the same BMI.

Many endurance athletes with waistlines under 30" can consume a large amount of food because of the amount of calories they burn through their training.
